Born and raised in the hills of Upstate New York, Curt Buchan has his sights set on writing and performing a style described as country roots and mountain folk. The young singer/songwriter finds inspiration through artists such as John Denver, Evan Felker (Turnpike Troubadours), Chris Knight, and Charles Wesley Godwin. Growing up in the rural Hudson Valley, Curt spends his free time fly fishing, hunting, and writing songs. For the past year, Curt has played shows around the county and is branching out in neighboring states like Vermont and Massachusetts. On his way out to Arizona in the winter of 2024, Curt recorded his first studio record with producer Zach McCord in Clarksburg, WV. The 5-track EP titled “Old Soul” was released in August 2024 featuring the themes of heartbreak, hard decisions, and figuring out this crazy world.
